Ink on rice paper
The exposition is comprised of a series of Japanese drawings from the early 19th century, made with India ink on rice paper. Scenes drawn by brush, that can be read horizontally or vertically; stories through which the artists convey the lyricism of the moment and the motif. The contemplation of this emotionally moving beauty is not one of static realism and the aesthetic of mirrored reflection, but rather one in which the human, animal and plant images use the lines, stains and colors to breath.
